  1. Under the Solution Exporer, select the file that you would like to check in by right-clicking on it
  2. From the popup-menu, select "Check In..."

  1. Confirm that you want to save changes to the items indicated in the popup window
STEP 3

  1. Write a descriptive comment under "Comment:" of "Source Files" regarding the changes that you made
  2. Click on the button labeled "Check In"
