This page shows how to install Sharepoint 2010 with Powerpivot. This installation process, however, is not security hardened (installation of Sharepoint 2010 with security in mind involves installation processes via the command-line).
STEP 1
Create a Domain User account that will be used as the administrative farm account prompted for during the installation of Sharepoint 2010. Temporarily attach that account to the Domain Administrators group.
STEP 2
Install Windows Server 2008 SP1 – The Windows Server 2008 install package shipped with SP1 so there is no separate SP1 download.
NOTE: If you want to use the User Profile Service Application (allows you to synchronize profile data, such as users, between Sharepoint 2010 and Active Directory among other sources), the SQL Server install should be the full version.
STEP 7
Adding additional security to Sharepoint 2010. You can add additional security layers around Sharepoint 2010 by using various Microsoft Forefront products as shown below...
Forefront TMG 2010 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff355324.aspx). This provides URL filtering, anti-malware/anti-virus protection and more. Typically you route all traffic destined for Sharepoint 2010 through the TMG.
Forefront FPSP 2010 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc298337.aspx). This provides anti-malware/anti-virus protection and more. This product is designed specifically to protect document libraries in Sharepoint 2010.
Forefront FEP 2010 (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff823816.aspx). This provides anti-malware/anti-virus protection and more. This product is designed to be installed on the server itself for protection in scenarios such as someone downloading files through a web browser on the server (although server administrators should not be doing much of this), plugging another system directly into the server, etc.
